Region Events

Wishing Helen Hope, Joy McCrossen, and Margaret Ras the very best as they compete in the Women’s Region Senior Triples semi-finals this Saturday at Merrylands Bowling Club, kicking off at 9:15am.

We’ve also got Gary Watson and Warren Whyte taking part in the Reserve Singles semi-finals on Sunday, also at Merrylands from 9:00am. Best of luck to all our players!

In addition, on Sunday, a couple of our members have been selected to represent the Region against Metro South-East at Guildford Bowling Club, starting from 9:00am. Congratulations and best of luck to Andrew Weaver (Over 40s) and William Harkins (Open), a massive achievement for both of you!

State Mixed Pairs

We were proud to have 18 teams representing Castle Hill in the State Mixed Pairs Qualifying last weekend!

Congratulations to the three sides who progressed through to the second day of qualifying, Rhonda White & Steve Vanderveer, Sue O’Connell & Kyle Martinez, and Pam Lowe & Paul Bryan.

Unfortunately, Rhonda and Steve went down in the morning, while Sue and Kyle won their first game before narrowly missing out in the semi-final, just short of what would have been an all–Castle Hill final after Pam and Paul made it through to Sunday afternoon’s final.

Although Pam and Paul fell just short in the final, it’s a massive achievement to make it that far. Well done to all our teams. Go Chargers!

Club Championship Update

A quick reminder that entries for the Men’s and Women’s Major Singles, along with the Major/Minor Pairs, close this Tuesday, 11th November.
