Vale - David Thrush

It is with great sadness that we inform our members of the passing of David Thrush at the age of 91. David was a well-known businessman and a respected member of the Castle Hill community.

A passionate car enthusiast, David travelled across Australia, showcasing his vehicle and connecting with like-minded friends. He was also an active social bowler at our club from the years 2002 to 2013.

Funeral Details:

Allan Drew Heritage Chapel 221 Old Northern Rd, Castle Hill 2154 10 AM, Wednesday, April 23rd

David’s wake will follow at the Castle Hill Bowling Club.

Our thoughts and support go out to David’s sons, and our friends Paul & Geoff

Bowling Updates

Women’s Minor Singles and Lohman Triples entries are now on the club notice board. Be sure to get your entries in before they close early next month!

Quick reminder that with the public holidays coming up the bistro will be closed the next two Friday’s

Don’t forget – the Easter Monday social is back this year! The club will open at 12 PM, with social bowls starting at 1 PM. There will be plenty of prizes to win, and it promises to be another fantastic day at your favourite club!
