Friday Night Trivia

Another fantastic trivia night at Castle Hill Bowling Club was made possible by our dedicated members Kim and Dave Bremner and the amazing team of volunteers. The event drew 120 members and guests and began with the ever-popular CHBC Raffle, which was well supported by attendees. The trivia competition was lively and competitive, with Lee and David Mason and friends taking first place, Paul and Geoff Thrush and friends coming in second, and Marie from Springtime External House Cleaning securing third. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and friends, the top 12 teams received prizes in cash and kind. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Paul Conti of Ray White Castle Hill, Angela Rowntree of Stabilise Physiotherapy, Clifford Chong Optometry, Hills Dental Care, CHRG for Lynwood Mini Golf vouchers, and Bob McGee, CHBC member. It was truly another great night at Castle Hill Bowling Club!

Region Events 11th-12th October Results

The Ladies contested the Senior Women's Triples on Sunday, 12th October; with the team of Rosemary Menere, Joy McCrossan and Margaret Ras progressing to the Semi-Finals - to be played on Saturday, 8th November at The Hills, commencing at 9:30am.

The Men contested a number of Region Singles events that commenced on Satuday, 11th October. Playing against some strong opponents, and in somewhat blustery conditions, with the wind picking up as the day progressed, which made for some interesting bowls. A number of bowlers were able to progress to Sunday, 12th October.
