CHRG (Castle Hill RSL Group) and the Castle Hill Bowls Club (CHBC) Bowls Advisory Committee are excited to announce that after an extensive search we have appointed a new Bowls Coordinator – William Harkins.

William has a passion for bowls fuelled by his family, having taken up the sport to play with his brothers, father and grandfather. He is also a fierce competitor on the greens, with a determination that has seen him succeed as a first grade bowler and having represented Zone 10.

However, most importantly for William, Bowls is about building a community. In talking about what makes a club successful, William said, “It’s all about creating a community culture”. This was one of the principles that William articulated through the recruitment process, and along with his great communication skills and the integrity and values he displayed, we are confident William will be a great addition to the team and drive the growth of Bowls at Castle Hill.

William will commence on September 18th and we hope everyone will make him feel welcome and part of the CHBC family.​​​​
