Best of Luck to Our State Representative

Steve Vanderveer kicks off his 2026 Australian Senior Sides Championships campaign tomorrow at 11:30am local time. With two games each day and hopefully a place in next Wednesday’s final, it’s a massive occasion for Steve, and the whole club is right behind you!

There’s also a good chance Steve’s rink will be live-streamed on Sunday morning, so tune in to the Bowls Australia YouTube channel at 11:30am to catch some of the action.

Best of luck to our Castle Hill representatives this Sunday at Wyong Bowling Club, where Sue O’Connell, Lan Lim, Jimmy Barclay, Mike Calvert, Paul Bryan, Peter McGill, Paul Hodkinson and Gerry Harkins will be representing our club.

Major Minor Pairs

The Major Minor Pairs final was played on Tuesday evening, with Gary Bernsdorff and Warren Whyte coming out on top in a closely contested match against Bill Vines and Mike Brien.

It was a great game between the two teams, with Gary and Warren eventually securing the win 16–14 to claim the Major Minor Pairs title.

Congratulations to Gary and Warren on a great win, and well played to Bill and Mike on making it a tight contest right to the end!

Lohman Triples – Entries Close Monday

Last chance to get your entries in for the Lohman Triples, with entries closing this Monday, 12 October.

The competition will be played on Tuesday evenings, commencing 20 October. This is a singles-entry competition, with random teams drawn once entries have closed.

Get your entries in before the deadline so you don’t miss out!
