Lohman Triples has reached the grand final stage after two highly competitive semifinals last weekend.

Lynne Graham's team led throughout their match, holding a strong lead of 18-12 after 16 ends. Andrew Weaver's team then strung together five consecutive ends of singles to close the gap to 18-17, but Graham's team wasn't done yet; responding with a three of the 22nd end. The game still had more drama, as Weaver's side launched a final comeback over the last three ends, snatching the win by one on the final end.

The other semifinal between Gerard Harkin's team and Bobbie Cochrane's side definitely matched the energy of the first. The teams were neck and neck throughout, locked at 14-all on the 17th end. Harkin's side then pushed ahead, leading 23-17 going into the 23rd end. Cochrane's team wasn't finished, and they scored three shots over the next two ends to close the gap to just three. On the final end they managed two more, falling just short and losing by one.

This sets up what promises to be a great clash in the final, taking place this Sunday, July 13 at 1PM. Team lineups are listed below:

GREENS / WORKS UPDATES

We're pleased to share that progress continues on schedule at Castle Hill. The subsoil drainage works on Green One have been successfully completed, and the new retaining wall is now fully in place. In addition, installation of the plinth on Green One is now underway, marking another key step forward in the project.
