Club Championship Updates

The Men’s Fours Final took place last Saturday, with two quality sides battling it out for the title. While the scoreboard showed a 22–9 result, anyone who watched the game knows it was much closer than that, with some excellent bowls played throughout the afternoon.

Congratulations to Allan Coy, Mark Prosper, Jimmy Barclay and Steve Vanderveer, who were victorious 22–9 over Bish Singh, Paul Thrush, Darren Garton and Paul Bryan.

Both teams put on a fantastic display of bowls and should be congratulated on a great contest.

Open Gender Senior Pairs

The draw for the Open Gender Senior Pairs, which gets underway next week, is now available on BowlsLink, on the club noticeboard, and on the club website under the Club Championships section.

Be sure to check out the upcoming match-ups and come down to the club to support what promises to be another fantastic championship event.

Gather your team and join us for a fun, fast-paced night of bowls as we host our first ever BPL Club Qualifying Event.

Midweek Open Gender 5-A-Side Pennants Are Back

The annual Metro North-West Midweek Open Gender 5-A-Side Pennants are back, and registrations are now open! The sign-up sheet has been placed on the board at the club.

Castle Hill has always had a strong showing in this competition, and after last year’s hiatus due to construction works, we’re looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and fielding strong sides once again.

The competition is open gender and played across three different grades, giving bowlers of all levels the opportunity to get involved and represent the club.

If you’re keen to be considered for selection, make sure you get your name down on the board and be part of another great pennant campaign!
