Championship Update

The final club championship of the 2024/2025 season wrapped up last weekend with the conclusion of the Lohman Triples.

The match was contested between the team of Mick Horner, Gary Tyrrell, and Gerard Harkins and the team of Gerda Ekkelenkamp, Col Lees, and Andrew Weaver.

Harkins' team surged to a 15-7 lead by the halfway mark, with standout bowls from Mick Horner in his first Club Championship final setting the tone. Strong performances from both Gary Tyrrell and Gerard Harkins helped maintain the momentum, despite some brilliant efforts from Andrew Weaver to keep his team in the contest. In the end, Harkins' team pulled away to secure a 25-15 victory.

Congratulations to Andrew and his team on reaching the final and well done to the new champions!

Greens/Work Updates

Following our last update, we're pleased to share that progress on The Greens continues to move forward smoothly.

The roof structure installation is now well underway and remains on track for completion by next week. This marks a significant milestone in the project as we transition into the next critical phase.

Once the roof structure is complete, electrical work will begin. We sincerely appreciate your continued patience and support as we move forward with this exciting development.
