Another Big Week Around the Greens

It’s another busy week at Castle Hill Bowling Club, with players representing the club, championship action continuing, and plenty happening both on and off the greens. Here’s what’s coming up around the club.

Region Rookie Singles

Best of luck to Bel Bailey as she heads to Guildford Bowling Club this weekend to compete in the Region Rookie Singles.

Bel gets her campaign underway at 11:00am on Saturday. If you’re in the area, get down and show your support as she takes on the region’s best emerging bowlers.

Open Gender Senior Pairs Final

The finalists are locked in for the Open Gender Senior Pairs, with two teams ready to battle it out for the title.

The final will take place on Tuesday, 4th August at 10:00am:

Noel Benson & Paul Bryan vs Ross Swain & Joe Baliva

Club Triples Championships Continue

The Men's and Ladies Club Triples Championships continue this weekend. Make sure you keep up to date with all draws, match times and results via BowlsLink or the club noticeboard. Good luck to all players competing.

President's, Life Members' & Volunteers' Day

A reminder to get your name down for our annual President's, Life Members' and Volunteers' Day on Saturday, 15th August.

This is a great opportunity to celebrate and thank the people who continue to support and contribute to our club.

There is no cost to attend, with lunch provided from 12:00pm, followed by bowls from 1:00pm–1:30pm.

Add your name to the nomination sheet at the club to secure your spot.

Midweek Open Gender 5-A-Side Pennants

The countdown is on, with nominations now open for this year’s Metro North-West Midweek Open Gender 5-A-Side Pennants.

If you’re interested in representing Castle Hill, make sure you add your name to the nomination sheet on the club noticeboard.

The competition is open gender and played across three grades, providing an opportunity for bowlers of all abilities to get involved and be part of another exciting pennant campaign.
