CLUB UPDATES

The works around the Club are progressing well and we’ve got some updates for our members. The back staircase is moving along, with concrete poured today. Power has now been connected to the canopy structure on the undercover green and the lights are up and running. Work has also begun on the eaves at the front of the building, with the lining now underway.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding as we continue moving forward.

Bowls Updates

Over 40's Pairs

Congratulations to all the players who represented the Club at the Over-40s Pairs Qualifying on the weekend. A special mention goes to Darren Garton and Andrew Weaver, who went through undefeated in their section. The gents are now through to the semi-finals on Saturday, 13th September at Carlingford Bowling Club from 12:30pm. Best of luck, hopefully they can battle their way through to the State Finals!

Mid-Week Pennant Update

The BAC has made the decision not to enter the upcoming Mid-Week Pennant competition. While this was a tough call, it was made with the limited green space at Castle Hill in mind, along with the need to prioritise our regular Wednesday Social competition. The Club will reconsider the decision when the competition comes around next year.
