Grade 3 Pennant State Finals

Our Grade 3 pennant side shook up the state finals over the weekend! The team started strong with a great 10-0 win, 72-51, over Warilla. After lunch, they faced South Tweed and unfortunately lost 1.5-8.5, with a final score of 53-61.

The side bounced back the next morning in a must-win game against Berry Bowling Club, securing a 9-1 win, 60-49. This win progressed us into the quarterfinals that afternoon.

The game was tough, played in challenging conditions, but the team battled on and showed great spirit. The final result was a 0-10 loss, 47-62, to a high-quality side from Park Beach Bowling Club.

Well done to all the players for their hard work and determination!

Championship Update

Lohman Triples is back this weekend with quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon!

We’ve got two great matchups: Andrew Weaver vs Rhonda White, and Lynne Graham vs Roger Newman. Both should be solid games, with the winners facing each other in the semifinals on Sunday afternoon.

They’ll join the other semifinal between Bobbie Cochrane and Gerard Harkins, which is set to be another great contest.

If you're after something to do this weekend, come down and catch some top-quality games. The bistro will be open on Sunday from 12pm to 4pm if you’re keen for a meal while you’re here.

The Battle of the Champions is locked in for Sunday, 10th August, with the Club Presentation to follow.

Greens/Work Updates

Work is progressing on Greens One and Two. On Green One, drainage pipes and the wall foundation have been completed, while Green Two now has the flagpole and umbrella installed. Work is currently paused due to rain but should resume soon. Thanks for your patience!
