With lawn bowls becoming a Commonwealth Games event and a popular Saturday afternoon ABC TV show, more people of all ages are being attracted to this great sport. Once considered a game for the “grey brigade” with white uniforms and big white hats, much has changed. Club clothing has modernised, is now colourful and appealing to all age groups and the game is growing in popularity. The modern game has no age barriers..
Castle Hill Bowling Club is the friendliest in the North West and aims to introduce the community to the game of bowls – a game which can be as social or competitive as you would like it, inexpensive, outdoors, healthy, skilful, individual or team, relaxing, challenging and fun.
Castle Hill Bowling Club can arrange an introduction to bowls for you. Coaching sessions are free and bowls are supplied. All you need to bring is a pair of flat sole shoes, rubber thongs, bare feet or socks to enjoy fun out in the fresh air.

MEMBERSHIP
There are several categories of membership available at the Club:
FULL BOWLING MEMBER - allows you to participate in all social activities and all organised bowls at the Club, Zone and State level. Please see "Daily Bowling at Castle Hill Bowling Club" - for program of organised bowls at the Club. Note - where 'club event' is stated you must be a full bowling member to participate.
There are also special events at Easter, Anzac Day, Queens Birthday, St Gabriel's Charity Day and of course Pennant Competitions, in which full members can participate.

SOCIAL BOWLING MEMBER - allows you to participate in all social activities and bowl socially any time during the year, as long as green space is available.
