Information for All Bowlers
SUNDAY
Morning: Mixed Mufti Bowling. 9:00am Start
Afternoon: As scheduled 3rd Sunday of each month. Mixed Mufti 1pm Start. Afternoon events may be cancelled due to other events as may be scheduled by the Match Committee or Club Management.
M0NDAY
Greens are closed all day, NO ROLL UPS
The only events to be played on a Monday are District or Zone games as scheduled. Public Holidays events will be advertised.
TUESDAY
Morning: If green space is available, roll ups are permitted as per Green Keepers directions. Greens to be vacated by 11.45 am.
Afternoon: Club Event. Full Members mixed mufti 1pm start.
WEDNESDAY
Morning: If green space is available, rolls ups are permitted as per Green Keepers directions. Greens to be vacated by 11.45 am.
Afternoon: Men’s Bowling Club Event, Full Members, Uniform as per Dress Policy. 1pm Start.
THURSDAY
Morning: Women’s Bowling Club Event Full Members, Uniform as per Dress Policy. 8.30/9.00am meeting time. 9.30am start or as may be advised.
Afternoon: Roll ups are permitted after the Women Bowlers have vacated the greens, approx 1.30pm. Afternoon roll-ups may be cancelled due to other events as may be scheduled by the Match Committee or Club Management.
FRIDAY
Morning: Most Fridays are allocated for Probus Bowling Clubs.
Check with the Clubs Office as to space available for roll ups.
Afternoon: From about 12.30pm greens are open for roll ups.
Twilight Bowls: Social Mixed Mufti:
- October to March (played during Day Light Saving Time). Starts at 5.30pm, finishes at 7.30pm or on the Bell.
SATURDAY
Morning: Roll ups prior to the afternoon event, are permitted, only if the greens have been prepared, and on the Green Keeper's direction.
Greens to be vacated by 12.15pm.
Afternoon: Men's Bowling Club Event, Full Members, Uniform as per Dress Policy. 1.00pm start.
ROLL UP
All Roll Ups are as indicated on the notice board at the Greens entrance to the Club.
The Green allocated and the direction off play shall be observed at all times.
BAREFOOT SOCIAL BOWLS
Castle Hill Bowling Club can arrange an introduction to bowls for you. Coaching sessions are free and bowls are supplied. All you need to bring is a pair of flat soled shoes, rubber thongs, bare feet or socks to enjoy fun out in the fresh air. Try bowls with your social group or family & friends, you do not need to be a member of the club to arrange a social bowls event.
